HTC Desire HD is one of the most popularity gained smart phone by the manufacturer HTC. As HTC Desire HD smartphone comes with android OS Kitkat in its stock firmware. Here you can flash android OS lollipop by flashing CM12 in your device.

-After downloading the Android Lollipop based CM12 ROM and Gipps on your PC, connect your device through a USB cable and then transfer the downloaded .zip files to your device’s SD card.

-Here you have to boot into CWM recovery mode on your android device.

-Switch your device off completely first. Now turn it on back by pressing and holding Volume Up + Home + Power Key until you boot into the recovery mode.

-Now in the recovery mode, select the factory data reset and also wipe cache.

-Select the “Install Zip > Choose Zip from SDcard > locate the CM 12 zip file > Yes” and start the installation process of the Lollipop ROM.

-After the completion of flashing the ROM, wipe cache and dalvik cache from the recovery options and then reboot your HTC Desire HD.

-When you device will boot up you can see a CyanogenMod logo.

-Now enjoy the CyanogenMod 12 on your HTC Desire HD.
